To all clients,

We would like to re-iterate the shipping process as it pertains to the weekly shipping of all books.

Our first priority is to ship out all the Diamond copies. Once this is completed we then move to customer copies. These customer (non Diamond) orders are processed in the next 24-48 hours.

On a weekly schedule that means the Diamond copies are processed from Wednesday to Friday, for example, and then all other shipments are processed from Friday to Tuesday. Of course with holidays, changes in volume, this is always subject to change.

Exceptions

If there are any specific dates books need to get somewhere please note this down and those will be prioritized. If instructions are given simply as an address we will always ship the most economically method possible. This is also the slowest. It is important then to highlight, advise etc that any non Diamond shipment that has a Date to deliver on be identified.
These time sensitive books will be prioritized and shipped out in a prioritized process to assure the books are delivered on time to the required destination.
If the publisher wishes to see copies of his book prior to Diamond shipping the books out to retailers they should request 1 or more copies to be expedited OVERNIGHT for urgent delivery.

Note

Many of these time sensitive copies are also quality sensitive and AGAIN we advise you to let us know if these books are for say, a signing, or directly to a retailer and they must arrive in the best shape possible. In order to ensure that the books ship well we have put in place a number of packing processes to limit shipping damage.

Books intended for children under 12

By law, these titles need to have the CPSIA statement in each book (this statement usually prints on the indicia page). Please include this statement going forward in all books intended for children under 12.
